Inspiration comes from the pre-columbian indigenous culture, principally in the legend of El Dorado, the Cacique ceremony in the Guatarita Lagoon, where the Cacique was covered in dust of gold, on a raft it would guide itself to the center of the lagoon and there it would throw offerings of gold and emeralds to the gods.
Handcrafted in Colombia by very experienced goldsmiths. The detail and workmanship put into each pair takes days to make. Heavily 24k gold plated so there will be no discoloration or tarnishing
